Galatasaray Celebrations!
« on: May 11, 2008, 10:19:24 AM »
Congratulations to my second favourite team - Galatasaray - on winning the Turkish league..!!

Were there any celebrations in Kalkan last night..??

It is D-Day for my our favourite team - Reading - make or break match this afternoon - so will it be celebration or relegation.... :o

I can feel the pressure from here Felicity!
We too are under pressure this morning as my 10 year old son prepares for playing in the Mid Wiltshire Under 10''s cup final. Just hope it doesn''t go to penalties. (Every Mum''s nightmare!!!)
Will post the result later!
Good luck Reading.
 ;)

Well I''m afraid that there will be no noisy celebrations in Reading tonight...  :(  Despite a magnificent win away at Derby (4:0) - they are still relegated due to an unexpected win from Fulham..  :o  So we are all gutted - but will enjoy Galatasaray''s win instead with a beer to enjoy this magnificent weather  8) 8) we are having and try to drown our sorrows..!!!   ;)

Who wants to compete with the big boys anyway..!!   :o

Very different here in Motherwell. We managed 3rd in the league so we''re in EUEFA cup next season ;D
Unbelievable considering the season we''ve had and the tragedy of our captain Phil O''Donnell collapsing and dying on the pitch in December. Like to think we did it for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feel your pain Blue Lizard. James McFadden came up through the ranks with us and was an outstanding player as well as a lovely person. When he moved to Birmingham really hoped he''d do the business and help keep you up but wasn''t to be unfortunately. Another link with us at Motherwell is Alex McLeish who was our manager a good few years ago now. Never really rated him but still hoped he''d do well. Sure next season you''ll bounce back!

in my time of deep pain,i decided to think of things to cheer me up!!  thoughts of Kalkan came to mind!!.......................that didn''t work! then Angelina Jolie popped round my house and bathed my brow whilst saying "there, there Blue Lizard...it''s all a nasty dream,Blues are still in the prem"...she then fed me grapes before tickling my feet and cheering me up......i now believe things are better!! ;D ;D
