Organic fruit and Veg

Hello everybody.
In Seven days time we go back to Kalkan for our fourth year running and I can't wait! The only difference is this time we have a baby daughter with us who is seven months old. I have scanned the forums and gleaned lots of good baby tips so a big collective thank you for that. The only question left unanswered is about organic fruit and veg.

A recent report from Greenpeace suggests that Turkish farmers use a very large amount of pesticides on fruit and veg. Obviously this doesn't bother the grown ups in the group cos frankly the fruit and veg is amazing. On the plus side there is also a lot of reporting about Turkish farming cleaning up its act in order to join the EU so its not all bad.

 We are taking pre made jars and pouches with us however she is partial to fruit and veg as finger food for snacks, pepper, baby sweetcorn, melon etc and I was hoping to continue that on holiday.

I have done some searching and can see a lot of the restaurants claim to use organic food and also saw that the Regency has an organic farm.

First question: do any of the supermarkets / greengrocers sell organic veg or is it only available in restaurants and hotels?

Second question: what sort of accreditation do you have to go through in Turkey to claim that produce is organic? Is there a similar scheme as in the EU or is it a case of the producer making the claim and you have to take there word for it?

I did vow to not become this paranoid cliche of a parent but its amazing how once they arrive that all goes out of the window. Any advice would be greatly received.
