late night bars and great restaurants

Hi,
I know it''s a very difficult question to answer, but if you had to choose the friendliest restaurant and late night bar in Kalkan for a thirty something couple - where would be your choices? Want to go somewhere great for dinner then a really nice, fun and relaxing bar afterwards for my Wife''s birthday while we are away. So many recommendations - so need something definitive if you know what I mean.

Totally personal opinion here but I would eat at the Korsan Fish Terrace (and they have live jazz some nights) & then I would slip down the steps to the Kleo bar for an after dinner drink. Sitting close to the water by the Kleo with a drink is my favourite.

But I think you''re going to get lots of different replies!!

hiya m.j.w. If a nice,meal with good vibes,the harbour or any roof terrace would be good,drinks after,depends what music you like,go with the flow, see what happens.

I would say Aubergine (at a table nearest the boats) then I agree with Sally, a table by the sea at the Kleo bar

My choice would be IBO and then the Kleo bar too!

Hi, I celebrated my birthday last year in Daphnes and they looked after us really well after eating a fantastic meal we all sat outside on thier small terrace for cocktails. Infact I''m doing it all again this August and it cant come soon enough !!!!

Sandals is great - although this year it will be a smaller bar as it''s become a fish restaurant, I understand.
Moonlight is a lively bar if you can manage the slope after alcohol
Aubergine or Gironda are lovely restaurants for a special occasion meal IMHO, but we also had a nice dinner and then moved to the bar at Salt and Pepper last year and would have no problem recommending this establishment. To be honest, you could go anywhere in Kalkan and mention it was your wife''s birthday and I''m sure it would be a memorable evening.

We had a lovely evening at ''Trio'' ...lovely food, great atmosphere...then meandered along to Kleo for a drink watching the moonlight on the sea....then staggered up the hill! Perfect!

I would first have a relaxing drink at the bar in Aubergine, then go to Doy Doy for dinner.......thats what I intend to do in just under 2 weeks from today yippee.....CAN''T WAIT.
