Duty free on the way to Kalkan - UK airport or Dalaman best?

I am wondering whether to pick up duty free drinks on the way out or to hold back and try and buy them at Dalaman when we arrive. We wont be landing until 10:30pm ish so will the shop still be open and are the prices much different.
Any help much appreciated

I'm no expert but I THOUGHT Dalaman was expensive for duty free? Best to get them in Gatwick (or wherever you're flying from)?
Anyone else correct me if I'm wrong

silly question probably..........in Kalkan you cant buy alcohol after 10.00 pm....but can you buy duty free drink at Dalaman if you arrive after 10.00 pm ?

I'd definitely buy at duty free in UK, on the plane and then at Dalaman if you need more and they are open as a bonus. 

I think it depends on the proximity to a Mosque but don't quote me on that. It's been a while since we've had a night flight so I'm not sure.

Get it in the UK, some airlines not selling on board so then buy at Dalaman which is open well after midnight from our personal expirence,  may be a little bit more expensive than the UK but certainly cheaper & more choice than the supermarkets.

Definitely buy in the UK. Dalaman is more expensive and a rip off. easyJet did not sell any litre bottles of spirits

We always buy some at Stansted then some at Dalaman.  Depending on what you buy, prices are similar.  Think Baileys at Uk was about £14 & in Dalaman about 16 Euro, Vodka similar, we notice Brandy is dearer in Dalaman.  The U.K. Airports often do "2 bottle" deals which make it cheaper in Uk. Easy jet do not stock duty free spirits or cigarettes, but Thomas Cook do, Thomas Cook are quite cheap.  We came into Dalaman around the 10pm mark (can't be exactly sure) but the were showing no signs of closing, maybe they have an exemption I don't know?  Or perhaps it was just before 10pm I can't be exactly sure.   Outside of the airport it is all shops should not sell alcohol after 10pm.

Friends arrived at 2230 hr last Thursday and bought spirits in Dalaman shop in baggage hall.

Great deals on Monarch flights out - about the cheapest I can remember for a while. We buy in the UK Airport, on the plane if we can and then at Dalaman. Best deals at Dalaman tend to be on spirits like Gin and Vodka not as cheap as UK but DEFINITELY cheaper than Kalkan - best to buy Whisky Brandy and liqueurs before you arrive in Turkey. Also champagne is costly in Dalaman, as well as Prossecco so if you want those buy them in UK. I fell for a "great deal" for Turkish sparkling wine which was something daft like 7 euros a bottle. "Just like champagne" said the man in the Duty Free shop. It had Brut on the bottle so not Lambrini, I thought and at 7 euros it was worth a couple of bottles to try...yuk! Dont be tempted...
