Hi Folks!
Whats the weather like atm?
I've been checking the weatherregularly for my upcoming visit (cant wait btw!!! :) ) and have seen that a few thunderstorms have been scheduled, I think thunder is scheduled today too ???
(in all the years I've been coming to turkey I have never seen this in july :o ) -Can anyone tell me when it rains at this time of year is this just short sharp bursts of rain like in the carribean or is this rain all day? How is the weather currently/today?

Today has been very overcast, humid and it did rain very lightly. The past two days have reminded me very much of Caribbean weather. The sun is now shining and has been for a couple of hours but the sky is cloudy. It's really warm though and certainly not unpleasant, it's 42 degrees c on our thermometer which is in the sun. It hasn't spoilt our enjoyment at all but hope the humidity eases off as its playing havoc with my hair!!

42 degrees in the shade today. The temperature went up to 52 in the sun, but I took the thermometer inside before it exploded!

I'm going to have to hope it eases up a bit by 5 Sept - I truly cannot cope in 40C+.

Hmm.......... we are no longer in July and are rapidly running out of August. Lets hope there is enough sun left in Kalkan until the end of the season. :laugh:
