That article was based on info seemingly given by someone trying to sell her own villa. That person has put up yet another property-for-sale website. And yes, much of what she has written is dead wrong, a few things correct too.
English-run restaurants ? Maybe she means there are a few where the wife in English and the husband Turkish. I don't know of any that are wholly owned or run by English, do you?

I always thought foreigners couldn't own a business in Turkey unless they had a Turkish business partner? So she must just mean the few places where one person involved in the running of the business is English/British.
