Title: "are rentals down this year"

Just been on owners direct to have a quick peek at the villa we are renting this August, and out of interest looked at the availability of quite a few other villas , and found that  a lot of the villas have not been doing as well as last year.

Not sure about other owners, but we're pleased with our bookings this year, and we use Owners Direct.  8)

i think that you will stuggle to find any villa with availability over the main holiday period, some owners don't update their websites and calendars as much as they should do.

Likewise - I am very happy with my bookings for this year (up on last year) and already 4 weeks booked out for 2013! :)

We were fully booked months ago and still have people asking. To be fair I don't think people are really going to post on here they have fewer bookings and are struggling. Plus on Owners Direct they don't show last years availability so I don't still how it's possible to know if bookings are down.

being objective, we have had quite a few enquires for 10 days rather than 14.
