Title: Acoustic guitar playing singer!

Hi All

Can anyone help? Last summer we were dining at Kaptans and munching along to the strains of a really good singer and guitarist. Apparently he was well known in Kalkan and also played at Kaptans on Kalamar road. He sang fab chilled out songs eg Paul Weller, Eric Clapton, Cat Stevens etc. He was a tall guy with long grey hair. Does anyone know if he will be in Kalkan again this year, or what his name is?

This is a special request from my OH who also plays the guitar (very badly ha ha)  >:D ;D

Aklan also plays regularly at Parc Kalkan - hopefully he will do so again this season!  :)

We would LOVE to come and do some gigs in and around Kalkan and have been asked to do so by various bars.  But the logistics of it all and the possible politics involved seem to weigh heavily against it ever happening, but you never know!   8)

Hi Lizilu, I'm also a massive fan of Aklan - seen him at Kaptan and Parc. Also he appeared at La Sera on the Kalamar Rd - now Topaz. If you're on Facebook you can find his page :)

Thanks junehzrn. We asked about him the other night and unfortunately he is in Istanbul now but hope to catch him when we are back in July. I will look out for him on Facebook.
