Title: UK airports?
Post by: Blue Lizard on February 05, 2012, 01:49:52 PM
Well here we go again...poor old Airline passengers being dumped on again by those that run our airports....30% of flights from Heathrow were cancelled due to snow ARRIVING SOON!!!( it was about 1 inch deep when this call was made!)...not because it was deep and down..the thought being that if delays were coming fewer passengers means shorter lines of people? ??? with decisions like that being made by senior managers isn't it any wonder were all buggered?..Gatwick etc announces delays and cancellations we are told more and larger  equipment has been purchased and stockpiles of salt etc blah blah blah...then 5 inches falls and people are sleeping in cars on the m25.......it's not like the nasty old snow sneaked up on us is it??  noooooo! for days now the news and papers have been telling us armaggedon is on it's way..yes 10 to 15 cms would fall!!!....Why not get people in from countries that deal with a lot more than this and get rid of the overpaid monkeys that run our Airports and roads?....PAH i say and double PAH!! >:D >:D

Have you got any snow?

The windows are iced from the inside ... but you can see the Northern Lights from a hole in the loft. Got to get off now ... sounds like a polar bear is scratching at the door.
