BL, I have been doing that for the ten years that I have owned a place in Kalkan.
27/12/2011 seems an age away.

You can always find Lizard by laying a simple trap....it consists of a bottle of Efes and a side plate of Twiglets :-*

11th June for us. It appears early/mid June is a popular time for Forum members. Everything will be open but not as busy as in mid-summer school holiday time. Weather should be great - hopefully warm enough for even me to venture into the water.
Seems a long way off so will have to satisfy myself with peering at the webcams for the next few months.
New Year resolution - consider which is most likely, losing enough weight to wear the current shorts/swim costume or a trip to the shops a larger size!

Only 10 more sleeps - hope not too cold in Kalkan, cannot be worse than here at the mo' - pouring with rain and blowing a gale. Kalkan in January! Cannot keep away from the blasted place >:D >:D >:D

Mary Jane - Make sure you pack your thermals,hot water bottle,thick PJs,thick jumpers,wellies and a few t-shirts too!! Pretty windy and chilly here this morning!! The evenings are cold and the daytimes variable.Not as cold as UK I am sure but we dont have central heating,fitted carpets and decent double glazing (we dont anyway!) See you soon.

Hi Lizilu20 - your 17 day holiday break has really got me thinking!! We once stayed for 18 days -the longest we have ever stayed and it was great - the only thing I would have changed we couldnt get continuous accomodation for this period, so therefore we had to move once - bit of a pain, especially when we had become totally relaxed, but altogther a fantastic holiday with many happy memories.
Have a great holiday and now I am seriously looking to see how long we can stretch our annual leave! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year

Lucky you and to think you nearly didn't go last year. So glad you changed your mind and enjoyed all Kalkan has to offer. Looking forward to next years posts.

Hi Irene, can't believe our luck. Managed to get reasonable flights from Monarch on a friday evening and return flights 17days later on the monday lunchtime. Staying in the villa Lemonia, oohh cannot wait, our longest time yet. Hope you get your hols sorted.
Hi also to RosiB, really looking forward to meeting up with you all again. You made us so welcome last year and it's great to keep in touch.

I'm out in March to open up then again in May for our hols. Roll on March!

15/5/12 for us. Haven't been that early before but can't wait to be back in Kalkan :)
I'm sorry I will miss all the other forum members who will be there in early/mid June.
