After several hours of head scratching (and avoiding xmas shopping etc). I have managed to produce a version of the tour with a map included. For those with a PC and chrome, firefox, IE it should be fairly simple, click top right on 'map' and a google map should display, this can be zoomed in and out, click on a green dot and see the view from there (not exactly sure the locations of the green dots are accurate, feed back please! but note for some 'google' reason they tend to drift when zooming in/out!) , use your mouse to drag the image and Ctrl / Shift to zoom in / out
For iPhone / iPad users I have tried to get it to work.. and will continue to try.. there are a few problems I am aware of but any suggestions please PM.
Note this tour is classed as in alpha testing, just thought you lot might enjoy in helping to test! the tour itself may change disappear reappear show upside down etc over the next few days whilst I tweak it based on comments.

all comments suggestions welcome.

Brilliant, Hobbo. I felt 5 degrees warmer just looking at it.

For those wanting a wider look there is also - http://www.antalyasanalgezinti.com/kalkan.php :)

Stuart, I found your gyrapix video good but too fast. Is there any way to slow it down ?
The 2nd one from Antalyasaalgezinti is excellent.

So glad someone else has mentioned this. I do love the images, but like Cosetta, have to say thay they made me feel quite dizzy ???
Would love to know if it could be slowed down and if so would happily watch for hours on end :)

Exactly the sort of feedback I am looking for, yes the default speed can be adjusted and I will recompile the tour at a slower speed and republish over the next few days (I'll post when done, slightly busy for a couple of days!). I hadn't noticed the speed it ran at when left to it's own devices as I normally click and drag the image and take control... note to self, perhaps I need to spend more time relaxing, check flights to Turkey !!

Cosetta/Itstime
I have added a speed control slider at the top of the screen, it allows you to slow the spin rate down (and speed it up!) please can you play around with the speed and let me know what speed works best for you (there are 16 speed positions to choose from)
note you may need to clear you browsers cache depending on how your browser is setup.
Have a great Christmas.

What an excellent web site, the speed controller works really well and I have really enjoyed going through all the locations. This should certainly give anyone thinking about a holiday in Kalkan a very good feel for the place, it makes you want to go.
Your hard work and time spent on this is really worth while, I trust you did not get into trouble by skipping the Christmas shopping!

Thanks Stuart looking great now and no longer feel dizzy :)
I've got it set on the second bar and enjoying a leisurely stroll round Kalkan (a bit like my walking pace in July ;D )
Have a great Christmas !

This is really great Stuart - well done!
Can I use this on my website?
Hope so, because this is brilliant.

Sorry if this is getting boring
but I am still working on this project and would really appreciate feedback especially on the google map interactivity (I know it's not perfect as you zoom in and out the 'radar spots' move slightly, harbour wall point ends in the sea! etc. this only seems to happen in some parts of the world so could be a google map issue). Are the points in approx the right place, does it work for you (your PC/Laptop iPad etc)
If you were unsure how to see the map, you need to click on the Map button (top right).
Thanks in advance.
Stuart
hints click and drag to move around,
click on a thumbnail to jump to that view,
click 'Map' to open close map, click green radar spot to jump to that location. (map should also click and drag, zoom in/out)
Ctrl / Shift zoom in / out
double click to go to full screen mode, Esc key to return

I'm back in Kalkan 14th April for a few days sorting a few jobs on our own villa and shooting a few 360s for other villa owners, in my spare time I want to add to the Kalkan Tour any suggestions for 360 views?
