Does anyone know if it is possible for yabanci/foreigners to get a tapu in Islamlar without having to form a company?

Thanks whiteonyx, I had thought it was unlikely but wondered if anyone had actually looked into it.

Is it true that you can have the title to the land in your own name but cannot personally own any buildings on it ?  IOW, you can have the land tapu but not the title to the house?

That's how I understand it C. A company has to be formed to "own" the house, & thereafter accounts have to be submitted yearly. Just another anomaly in Turkish law with regard to foreign buyers.
