Could someone who is out in Kalkan at the moment just let me know how much a bottle of Tia Maria is in the shops at the moment please?
It's just a comparison against Gatwick and Dalaman duty free prices - I know it will be more but we'd just like to know how MUCH more . . .

I'm not sure you can get Tia Maria out there...(?)  However, I got a good deal at East Mids airport - litre bottle for the same price as 70cl because of travelling outside the EU.

Baggy, Reygirl's advice is very sensible - buy in the UK, duty free.
I think I've seen small bottles of Tia Maria in Yali, but like all imported spirits and liqueurs, they are incredibly expensive compared to UK prices. Think I've seen Turkish equivalents of different liqueurs, but again not so cheap. We buy the lovely Turkish Almond liqueur that BH calls "Azerbaijan" - always tickles the lads in Moonlight when he orders it ;D

Thanks for that - we are buying duty free but just wanted to compare. OH is a bit of a consumer champion so it's research really.

could someone just let me know if Rip Off Dalaman duty free is cheaper than Kalkan prices? I'm guessing so but you never know . . !

A 70cl bottle of Tia Maria was 57.60 TL today  ???  :(

KC, you beat me to it....saw that myself today in Yali...I picked it up as I felt sure for that price it had to be a litre...but no 70cl it is :o
