Just back in after dodging bits of tree and other assorted debris on my drive home :(
Was out walking yesterday and had full fleece and waterproof jacket on, hood fastened up and thick socks and wellies on :o :o Is it still not meant to be late summer ??? ???
Sure I read somewhere recently that up here in Scotland it's officially been the worst summer since 1916 >:(
Off to drag my poor wee puppy out for a walk, hope he doesn't end up flying through the the sky :o :o
12 sleeps to our return to Kalkan and if someone steals the sun from there I swear I won't be responsible for my actions >:D

Very windy here in West Yorkshire as well. In fact it feels like Autumn has arrived.
266 days until we get our next fix of Kalkan sunshine!!(not that we're counting!)

It is officially summer until 21st September but OMG the heating has gone on in K4E Towers :(
11 more sleeps for us until we're back in Kalkan....no siestas or sly snoozes in the Boardroom included in the total for Eniste's clipboard :-*

It's been so cold and wet in Scotland I had the heating on in August :o Wind really gusting here in Edinburgh - it's a wild night. My thoughts are with folks out at sea in this.
13 sleeps until we're back...can't wait to see/feel the sun, can't remember what it looks like 8)

LOL Rachey, me too. Came back from Kalkan mid July and heating went on a few weeks later. Just so utterly fed up with feeling cold and miserable. Not asking for tropical weather but something above 15 degrees in mid summer would be welcome. Apparently the average temperature between June and August this year was something around 13-14 degrees ???
I know as a nation we're known for moaning about the weather but heaven help us no wonder!

Hi All ,been another wild night down here in Stranraer, and here am I packing "T" shirts and shorts it doesn't seem right.Take off for Kalkan is 16:50 or is it 15:50 (Jesus better check) on Saturday, anyway should be still there when you (Rachey ,itstime) arrive, just look out for the lobster coloured Scotsman.

Wind? Its blowing a sideways hoolie here in Angus North Scotland :D I think Hurricane Katia has turned out to be a pussy cat though to be honest.
We are flying out on the 26th Sept ;D I'm already brown but I think that's just rust and not sun tan.
Hope the weather stays hot out there.

Lol! So true... in 2 weeks of Kalkan sunshine I go from blue to white to pink to freckles!
