We are arriving next Monday for our first visit to Kalkan.We usually go to Icmeler,so would like to know how long the transfer time is.
We booked on Thomas Cook by coach at the moment as it is our first time,but we have stopped doing transfer to Icmeler by Tour company because of the long journey times created by comfort stops and hotel drop offs.
We are wondering if to book a private transfer and get straight in to our holiday with out a long transfer time OR is there not much in it?
Read a horrendous report this week to Icmeler that took them four and a half hours!a nightmare.
We land at Dalaman about 1.30pm so should be ready to transfer about 2.30pm.
I have been told the new road is a lo quicker,but what is that in time?
Thought might spend extra going to resort and then use the coach back.
Your advise would be welcome

Hi jackonews, the transfer is approx 1.30 - 1.45 hours by private transfer. The cost is £110 return for 2 people in a private a/c car. There are many Transfer/car hire companies in Kalkan and all charge around the same. I use Brave Tours and feel they offer a fabulous service with new vehicles, very competent drivers and complimetary water and face/hand towels . Hi jackonews,, private transfer fees are pretty much the same whoever you use.
We usually use Abi travel, http://www.abitravel.net/
