Hi, I am due in Kalkan on 12th September for 2 weeks - our 5th trip but have never been in September before - July/August last year which was way too hot for me and June this year which was just about right. How hot will it be in September please?

I am sure September will be perfect for you.You will find the weather about the same as June. Its very hot now and we will be pleased when September arrives - residents getting a little fed up with the heat!!!!

We love the weather / heat of Sept, albeit, be prepared for a splash of rain or two, nothing bad, sun is norm back out soon after 8) >:D 8)

September is a superb time to visit regarding weather, similar to end of May-->June. Very slight chance of a shower but they don't last long at all. Recommended

This year will be our 4th time in Kalkan in September and the weather is, for the most part, gorgeous. I think we had one overcast day last year but all the other days were gloriously hot and sunny. The evenings are warm too and I've never needed a cover-up at all. We did have torrential rain on a few days in 2009 but everyone said that was the worse Kalkan September in 15 years, so hopefully that's out of the way for another 15. 23 sleeps!

this our 5th time in September, we have never had a bad one apart from a couple of showers in the two weeks we have been there, sunny and hot but not to hot to be uncomfortable, if fact lovely.
We go out 12th Sept for two weeks staying in Kalama bay.

pools and Sea seem warmer in September as the sun has been on them all summer ;)

We were there in September 2009 and yes the rain was absolutely torrential but it was fantastic and quite a laugh as we just made it from Trio to Doy Doy before being stranded for about 1 hour !!! The rainwater gushing down the streets was quite a sight and more especially watching a taxi trying to get up the hil outside the silver shop below Doy Doy. Kalkan is still a stunning place even when there are thunder storms and torrential rain - in fact I always look forward to a good thunder storm because it is lovely to watch the forks of lightning over the bay when we are at the villa. :D

Thanks for all your replies, sounds a lovely time to visit - am really looking forward to 2 weeks in guaranteed (hopefully) sunshine - summer in the Lake District has been awful AGAIN this year!! We are staying at the Pasha - 3rd time and love it.
