Hi to all

I have been reading most of the posts within this great forum.  I last visited Kalkan some 10 years ago and stayed at the Kulube (which I am led to believe has got very tired).  Myself and my girlfriend are keen to visit beautiful Kalkan again in August 2011.  We appreciate we have probably left it a bit late, as we have contacted the Meldi, The White House and Pasha and most if not all are all booked up.

We have found a 2 week slot at the Caretta Hotel, and are now nervously looking into booking our own flights, the hotel and transfer etc.  pretty scary stuff, as we normally have gone on holiday as a package.  We would appreciate any feedback from yourselves as to how to go about it, and whether anyone has stayed at the Caretta.

Welcome to the Forum, Cat.
Kalkan has changed a lot in 10 years but the "good bits" remain.
Try posting your question about Caretta on the Accomodation and Hotel Section.
