Does anyone know if the Pandora Hotel is within walking distance from Kalkan old town - just wondering if the new path from Kisla would make the walk not too bad? Anyone know anything about the hotel, or is it fairly new?

Hello, yes the Pandora is in walking distance to Kalkan and you can use the new path which offers lovely views of Snake Island. The Pandora itself stands in a fantastic position in Kisla with amazing views of the med sea and of Kalkan lit up at night time. The rooms are lovely with sea views and the rooftop restaurant again offers breath taking views. Staff will accommodate your every need and present you with mouth watering dishes. Back to the walk it will take you 8 mins to walk to the Patara (up hill), then another 15 mins into Kalkan making sure you are wearing flat comfortable shoes and take a bottle of water. We walked in every morning then caught the boat back which cost 4lire and entitles you to a free drink and sunbed. Make sure you catch the boat called 'Kalkan Beach Club' this takes you to the far side of Kisla. We were there in May and back again in Oct. You will have a great time and the walk keeps you fit too. 8)
