Hi, i've had a read of some of the old reports on the beach clubs and we fancy trying Palm beach and Carretta beach club. I understand we can walk to the Carretta one, is it at the end of the harbour near the Pirat hotel and how far is to walk to it?
How do we find the water taxi to Palm beach? Do they have their own little pitches down on the harbour were they leave from and do they run regularly? We never got round to doing the Beach clubs last year so we're determined that this year we are going to try a couple of them!! Many thanks for your help, i know the Beach club subject comes up quite a lot so thanks for your patience!!!!
Nicky.

Caretta had a boat ferrying visitors to their beach club last year. It is probally just as quick to walk from the Pirat, about 10 minutes. The boats for the beach clubs leave from the Town beach end of the harbour. Neither of the beach clubs are suitable for people with walking difficulties. Both clubs offer food and drink, Palm beach is good and reasonably priced. If you go to Palm beach look out for the Kingfishers.

Many thanks for your reply Taurus.

Nicky, depending on when you are in Kalkan this year, the walkway from the town beach to Palm may be open..? The water taxis are clearly marked with the name of the beach club, so you can't go wrong if the path isn't ready.

Is there a boat to Yali Beach club - can you get the Caretta one?

Issy, it's walkable from the harbour. Just take the path up from Indigo Beach Club towards Lykia Hotel and you will come to Yali Hotel and Beach Club - not too far or arduos
