Title: sofra restaurant

apart from last year we have spent the last 4 years in kalkan at new year. each time we have had a wonderful time on new years eve at sofra. our friends tried today to book us in for this new year and were told that it would not be open and that it had changed hands! anybody know why? or if it is correct. thanks

Hi, my fiancé is the head waiter at Sofra, Mehmet. They've decided not to open this Christmas/New Year because it just not profitable enough, it was ever so quiet last year, everyone must have gone to Aubergine!! It definitely hasn't changed hands though.

 :) pleased it has not changed hands. will miss not going there this winter and my favourite table in front of the fire!
