I want to order 2 sofas from IZMIR.Quote for delivery to Kalkan is 335 YTL
 
Is this expensive?

No it's not.  Round trip from Izmir to Kalkan is approx 900 KM and in a truck would take about ten hours.  It costs us in a car about 300 lira in petrol to do the journey. Diesel is a bit less expensive but it still seems a very good price.  You are paying labour for a full day for probably two people plus the diesel. Seems like a bargain to me

I agree with Will, that seems like an excellent price. We had two sofas from Ikea last year, using NEED in Kalkan and I can't remember the itemised delivery cost but it was definitely more than you have been quoted - it was a good service though.  I'd be interested to know where your quote was from as we may need another two sofas next season. Thanks.

Try asking J&J in Fethiye as they do a run to IKEA in Izmir weekly and their cost may be cheaper
