Have just booked two weeks at the Samira De-Lux, 14th - 28th Aug. First time in Kalkan, stayed in Fetheye last year.
I am coming with my 20 year old daughter,which will be some nice father and daughter time.
She is vegetarian so i hope there will be plenty of choice, she is rather fussy !! unlike myself who will eat everything and anything .
Have been viewing this site for the past few days very imformative and useful.
So a very big hello to you all and cant wait to visit, and will be asking questions as and when they come to me. :)

There is lovely veggie food here, most of the mezze is! I had gorgeous carrot burgers today at Cafe Zula, well recommend them

Welcome to EK - and get prepared to be bitten by the Kalkan bug :) . Your daughter will be spoilt for choice for veggy food - it's a vegetarian's dream. have a wonderful time!

I'm vegetarian and eat better in Kalkan than anywhere else I've ever been :-) If your daughter likes haloumi, make sure she tries the kebabs in Fez. I've also had great veggie meals in Ilban, Doy Doy Korsan and Baharat but everywhere caters for vegetarians so you'll both be spoilt for choice!

Thats great news re veggie food, Del( daughter) will be pleased, thanks for all the fast responses.
From what i have been reading about Kalkan i think i may have been already bitten.
I am very much looking forward to the shade of the pool bar best offer i have had all week !! lol.
