Title: 45 days! first timers

Hi all,

Me and My boyfriend cannot wait to arrive at the samira on the 25th August, this waiting around is killing me! lol
My friend recently returned from Turkey and mentioned that when you go to pay they ask if you paying in english money or not, she now wished she hadn't changed it! What would you suggest we take, money wise, euros, lira or pounds?

We always take sterling and change in Kalkan and we've never been asked how we are paying and the bill always comes in lira.

Some prices in the market are listed as euros, sterling and lira but the restaurants and bars are all shown as lira.
