Hi, can anyone tell me how much to expect to pay for a taxi from Kisla to Kalkan or vice versa? We are going in August and tossing up about managing without car hire for a few of the days.
Are the taxis 4 seaters?
Thanks

From memory its about 10 lira each way from Patara Prince, there is no problem getting 4 people in a taxi.

We were charged 15 lira last week for a taxi back to Eagles Nest (at the start of Kisla next to Patara Prince), it was after midnight.

I'm sat in an apartment in Eagles Nest Kisla right now ! Taxis vary from 10 to 15 lira and at various times, all metered so don't know why? Don't bother walking, too hot, steep and no footpath.
Ring Ayhan on 00 90 543 531 02 22. He won't rip you off, speaks good english and is a really nice bloke. Taxis are expensive though 15 Tyl ( about £6.50) for 1.2 miles. Airport is 140 tyl each way.

Hi All,
Agree, ring Ayhan.
We have all our guests use him!

We always hire a car, book it online and are met at the airport. It costs about £200 for a week and considering that the transfer is around the £ 120 return, the car hire is only costing £ 80. After a night in town, after a drink or three, we end up getting a taxi and have to walk back down the following morning. So cost of transport can add up, but hey we are on holiday. Car hire gives us a lot of flexibility and there are some great rides behind Kalkan into the mountains.

Got back from Kalkan last week = paid 12TL from Fidanka Hotel in Kisla, 17TL after midnight. During the day we used the free water taxi from Kalkan Beach Park to the harbour.
