Is there anywhere in Kalkan offering an alteration service? My sister has a dress that needs shortening and we wondered if it would be possible to get it done somewhere in the town?

Yes there are a number of tailors in Kalkan that will do alterations. We always use Nuans Tailor opposite Cafe Zula. She is very careful and takes pride in her work. She doesn't speak much English but the lads at Zula are always willing to help translate.

thanks saskia - do you have any idea of her turnaround times? we go mon june 7th for 11 nights, so only worth her taking the dress if its likely to be within a week or so.

Any alterations I have taken have been done the same day or ready the following day.

If you come down the steepish hill from Moonlight bar and turn left at the small crossroads by Mojito bar, just before a small garden. Zula is halfway along the small road, on the left, opposite Rami's restaurant. They have wicker sofas outside and Nuan's is just there next to Rami's.

Yes, I agree the tailors here are all pretty quick. I have had trousers shortened in 15 minutes when necessary.
