I fly to Kalkan for my honeymoon on July and want to take the lucky lady out to a restaurant for something to eat that is stunning and magical and they will make it a special night for her. any views people? ??? ??? ???

Although I have not been there yet I have been told that Villa Mahal out at Kisla is something special. I am taking my wife there in just over two weeks for our anniversary. There are loads of special places to eat in Kalkan. Aubergine is one I would recommend.

Hi there, you have certainly chosen the right place for a honeymoon, Kalkan is magical and wherever you go you will have a wonderful time. My hubby and I both love Aubergine for a more special occasion.It is right on the harbour and has various areas to sit so you can migrate around as the day/evening progresses. You may like to start with drinks right on the harbour edge, overlooking the water, then move to a beautifully presented table inside (only just undercover so away from any wind but still open to the evening) and then finish with after-dinner drinks in the sofa area again on the harbour side. We did something similar earlier this year and it was great. The staff were very helpful so I'm sure that if you had any special requests they would arrange any of them. The decor is very stylish and the choice on the menu extensive. I'm sure that many other restaurants in Kalkan might give give equal service (there are certainly many beautiful ones to choose from) but our personal experience of such an evening thus far sees Aubergine as tops (not cheap though but if you are marrying her she must be worth it!!). Just two words, Dylan....Villa Mahal. Aubegine is a nice restaurant, but it's not romantic...IMO. Type "Villa Mahal" into the search facility and read all about it :)

A moonlight cruise on one of the boats might be a bit differennt to start your evening. !!!
