I just read Jon's update - if you don't want to see reports off people who get up your nose you can hide them.
Surely this is like sending the school bullies on a nice holiday. You are not dealing with the problem which is causing this forum to earn itself quite a bad reputation. Merely masking the problem, letting them get away with it and losing the support and input of good people.
There are some very nice people on here and also some who just enjoy having a go at others, the local people included. Why? What do they get out of it?
I haven't posted on here for months due to pompous, self-righteous, spiteful, uncalled for remarks directed at me and to be quite honest I doubt I will again.
I would like to thank the senders of a surprisingly large amount of supportive pm's I received in response to my last post on the D400 road.
Isn't there a forum equivalent of an ASBO?
Anyway, bring on the sharp tongued snipers......

Its not a case of nice to the nasties, I was offering a solution to block content you may not wish to see. When EK receives a report of an inappopriate post action is taken, whilst you may have had a number of supportive PMs the EK team have received no reports against any posts on the thread you mention.
If a post is of concern to a member they should always report it to the moderation team so action can be taken.
Interestingly a number of people know personally those that "get up their nose" and may cause the forum to get a bad press - Perhaps they should have a quiet word with them!

Good, well then it's time to hit the 'report to moderator' button more then isn't it. I certainly shall.
