Hi All

Im in Kalkan as we speak, with my three children for the first time.  Staying at Villa Nathalie, booked through www.theturquoisecollection.com (http://www.theturquoisecollection.com)
The weather has been fantastic for April, the villa is beautiful and big, although did have a snake to get rid of the other morning! Bit scary!
There is lots of building work being done and the its very noisy from 8am to 6pm every day, and the harbour is getting ready for the season to start with lots of cleaning work being done on lots of restaurants. However, Kalkan is beautiful, authentic, friendly, food is excellent.  Went to the market on Thursday, (tip go about 4pm as you get the price right down).
Today took a car out to Xantos ruins, and went to Patara Beach which I imagine in high season will be full, but we had the whole place to ourselves!
Also took a trip to Kas, the town was more lively, had a nice lunch and boat trips were going on.  Car journey from Kalkan to Kas stunning views. Well worth a trip.
Well hope that gives you an idea of how our holiday has been.  One thing for sure I'd love to come back in the main season and see some good nightlight and good music.
Happy Holidays one and all.

The Greggies x
