Help!!
I have been checking the Easy jet website on a (nearly) daily basis for flights to Dalaman from London and became very excited when the dates seemed to extend to November 2010 - I therefore thought that 'now is my moment' and I would be able to grab a bargain for August 2010! However, my excitement has been short-lived as I tried to tap in the flight dates required and it came up 'No available flights'. I am now worried that I may have 'missed the boat' so as to speak (or the plane!). Does anybody know if the flights have all sold out for Aug 2010 or have they not even become available? The web-site states that they become available 'late October'. Please advise me if you can!!!
Thank you! ;)

I am pretty sure that they are now in the process of putting the data on their website but they will not make it 'live' until a particular date some time soon when they open sales. They aren't sold out as you haven't been able to purchase after June 2010. Keep checking.

Easy jet website is pants..they keep you in the dark!! keep checking they must be due out soon..we got june on the opening day for £125 ..someone will give the heads up when they go on sale ;)

Hi
It may help to look at Travel Republic site. I obtained flights earlier this year (June?) when they were not didplayed on the Easyjet site.
Hope trhat helps.
-
just remeber travel republic are in court at the moment and may not be here next year!
flights from £150 per person for 2010
-
Crikey, we've booked with Pegasus for nest year through Travel Republic...where does that leave us?
-
flight only is fine at present but the caa could close them down from selling "packages" that are not in fact packages and are unprotected!
watch this space!
-
...aaah so that's why their packages were so cheap :)
Flights paid for with credit card, so hopefully covered via that insurance anyway...it does say the flight is ATOL protected on my paperwork..it would just be the devils own job to get them that cheap at a later date >:(
-
flight only will always be protected by atol i.e the caa
some agencies do differ on this though so always ask!
i did many silverjet business only flights in 2008 before they went bust but all my clients got there money back in full as we only sell airfares with "airline failure protection"
if they had have booked with some other agencies or direct they would have lost all there money!
simalar to the xl failure!

Has anyone tried Airflights.co - looking at a reasonable price for August 2010 at the moment. Are they reputable?
-
I have used airflights several times,no problems, and their Onur flights are cheaper than Onurs own site, flights for next may/june are between £180/200+ not bad,I wouldnt hesitate in using them again. :)

Re. flights and various booking agents.
We were in Kalkan last year when XL went bust, and so our return flight was in doubt. We were flown back to the UK with Pegasus (they do not normally operate to Gatwick) they even served us with a hot meal!
I have used Airflights for several years, and would always recommend them, and unlike a lot of other people stranded in Kalkan last Sept, the return flight cost us nothing, as they are fully bonded. No, I do not work for them, but use them all the time - peace of mind!

I could book an Easyjet flight for August with Directline 300+ but couldn't get anything when I put this date on Easyjet's website??
-
According to their website, easyJet flights from July will be released on 4th November.
-
I had mail saying end of OCT...then told Nov 2nd...then when i queried it was told definate before christmas,,,,,,they truly are a rubbish web site!! >:( >:(
-
They were the same last year. They kept changing the release date. I managed to get some cheap flights for this year by sitting in an internet cafe in Istanbul, constantly refreshing their website, but next year's seem to be more expensive.
-
I have booked very cheap for June next year but we have friends(no computer access) looking for flights in August..so we are watching for them..it is so frustrating ..methinks they are waiting for new airport taxes that have been announced to take effect before they release!! >:(
-
Hi Lizard, I have just checked flights for August with easyjet on the Opodo website and they are allowing me to book.Hope this might be of some help for your friends.
-
They are out - however no bargains to be had during the whole of the summer holiday period unless you come back as late as 6 Sept. we still ended up paying £300 each which is the same price as they were on opodo a few days ago. not such a low cost airline anymore. We used to fly with GB/BA and always booked 350 days ahead and rarely paid more than £200 each. its now getting to the point where some package holidays may actually be better value.

easy jet august and september flights on sale from this morning
-
Manchester flights have not been released yet, hopefully they will be in the next few days.
-
Best I could get this morning when including baggage allowance and priority boarding was £285 each -so 4 booked in from 29th July to 12th August...3rd year on the trot! Just have to pay for it now!
-
Easyjet have released their Manchester to Dalaman flights for AUGUST to SEPTEMBER, no OCTBER dates as yet though.
-
Excellent alert, but booking fortnight last week Sept, first week October tricky!
-
The easyJet flights are really cheap in September. Considering one-way last week in Sept (£35) and booking the return later. Just checking with BH if he can get the time off work ;)
-
Just booked one way, so taking a chance here. I have emailed Easyjet to try and find out when and if they plan to release flights for October. Ever the optimist, I'm hoping that they send me a reply that actually makes sense.
