Title: Best Web Sites

Present web company excepted, which are the best sites to look for Kalkan villa accommodation?  There are so many options depending upon your Google search string but I would like to narrow my search field down to the ones acknowledged as being the *best* (or else I may get fired for spending too much time surfing when I should be working).  In brief I am looking for a villa in central Kalkan for two weeks next summer.  We are only two people, mother and daughter (the daughter being me and the mother being my 72 year old mum), but want space, a quiet but central location and a good sized private pool.  Any suggestions?  :)

Apart from this one of course, personally I think the best sites for villa and apartment accommodation are holidaylettings.co.uk and ownersdirect.co.uk which both seem to have the most choice.  You can narrow your search down to area of Kalkan, dates, number of bedrooms etc. and should still have a good selection, although I have noticed that many popular villas and apartments already have several bookings for next year - so book early for the best choice!

I've been booking with owners direct now for many years and never been disapointed - hope this year is no different will let you know when I come back

Both of those sites are on my radar - thank you  :)  I have a few places in mind already but just want to be sure I'm not missing the best search facility. Now I'll have to get hunting in earnest and make my mind up before I let the good 'uns get away!

If you are looking to book in the 6 week summer holiday - you might have already missed the good 'uns...but there will still be plenty others to choose from - I am sure!!!

Fortunately I have no need (nor indeed desire! Kids! Heat! Argh!) to travel during the school holidays so July and August are not in the frame.  I am thinking June or September with the first two weeks in Sept being my first preference. I am hoping that this will open up my options a bit and I am ready to commit to a booking pretty much immediately.

Have a look at www.villarenters.com          punch in Turkey then Kalkan ;)

Firecat, September is one of the nicest months in Kalkan, so you might find a lot of places are already booked...get a wriggle on ;D ;D.
We've booked for May/June next year and really struggled to get the location and particular accomodation we wanted.
