I had problems too but it instructed me to empty my cookies, which I did, and it's been fine ever since.  :)

Incidentally, the cookies were double chocolate chip and extremely tasty...  ;)

Try emptying your cookies.  If you use Chrome it tells you how to do that.

It seems to be working fine here in West Yorkshire - the taxi rank looks dry and hot! Whuch reminds me, I must book next years' flights!

I had problems with KTLN last week - cleared my cookies and no worries.  However, just went to the site to get my Kalkan town webcam fix and was locked out again.  Just cleared the cookies once more, and all is OK.  Are there any clever techy folk out there who can tell me (in idiot proof language  ;) ) how to fix this?  Mind you, less than 3 weeks and I'll be taking the view in in person...cannot wait

Hi everyone,

Please can you email webmaster at turkishlocalnews dot com if you have any problems with this KTLN web site.

Where possible, please state the browser and version (found by clicking Help > About) and also exactly what error(s) you get.  Screenshots are fantastic, but only if you know how to do this already.

If this is something on the site, rather than a specific browser issue, then we will get it fixed :)

Best wishes

Sam

Today is the first time I've not been able to get onto KTLN, it keeps timing out - no message. I can get onto all manner of other websites, just not KTLN - I'm assuming a problem at their end because my cookies are disabled (think there might be a joke in there somewhere given the dangerous biscuit thread..?)

Right, back to my rubber dinghy...  ::)

You could buy a small island for that money and a decent gin palace to cruise around it in...  Crazy money!

I had a meeting at Sunseeker recently, I supply them with certain types of over shoes. The guy there said the high end yacht business is totally unaffected by any recession infact they have never been so busy and have just launched the new super cruiser:

Just looked at the Russian boat on KTLN....that's one ugly looking craft !!!

"certain types" meaning Jimmy Choo ones..?   ;)

I love a nice over shoe, but I always make holes in them super quickly.  Must be heavy footed I suppose...  :-\

Ha ha no these are soft fitted polyester overshoes to prevent the wearers normal shoes marking the floor......they use them mainly at boat shows to allow people to walk on the decks.......I bring them in by the container load from the Far East......

Sorry no Jimmy Choo's we do some nice floral theatre clogs if that helps  ;)

Oh okay,  the ones I used to wear were plastic bag material and thickness and I wore them over my shoes to protect the new flooring in my hospital before we opened it. I got excited at the prospect of slinky yacht grade types, which clearly indicates that I really need to get out more  :-[

BL, I guess your grief over last weekend's footy has blurred that usually razor sharp mind.  I recall from watching QI that centipedes average 78 legs, so a box of 100 of these special shoes would leave 11 spare pairs..... so that's where Mrs E got the idea!
