Title: Underfloor Heating
Post by: Lou on August 15, 2009, 05:16:58 PM
Just wondering if anyone has this installed and how they are finding the cost to run it?  We have but it costs about £10 a day to run on the current water boiler we have installed so am trying to find a cheaper solution for running it.  Any tips/ideas welcome - thanks

Electricity is the most expensive cost there is if you live here - is that £10 a day now or in the winter??

A possible solution would be in having a modern combination water storage tank. It has multiple feeds and outlets. They are usually connected to a multiple heat sources, solar panels, gas boilers, wood stoves, immersion heaters and ground storage pumps. The control units switch the available feeds depending on the heat being produced or required. The tank then allows you to use as much domestic water as you want and still produces  hot water for underfloor heating and radiators.
