Would anyone know whether the Property Tax is back up to 3%? I heard this had been reduced to 0.5% to end June to stimulate the market.

I believe it is back to 3% now.

I still think it is negotiable. Some agents are back at 3%, others are staying at 1.5%, etc. Best to just shop around.

Tog Miester - sorry may have misled you with my heading. The tax I'm talking about is the one that is paid to the government when you purchase a house. It was 3% but was reduced up to end of june to 0.5% to help stimulate housing market. In the UK it's called "Stamp Duty".

Sorry my fault, it is at 3% now. There was a 1% period that lasted a month or two.
