I remember one being set back a little of the bottom of the Kalamar Rd, just pass the Atlantis.  Is it still there?  Haven't been in Kalkan since Sep 07 :( .  Only 27 days until our next visit :). Not that I'm counting

Yes, the one remaining Chinese Restaurant (Chopstix Xchange) is still doing well in Kalkan  - and before we have the usual rant about how awful this is in a Turkish village etc etc, I would point out that many Turkish towns and cities not known for their tourism have thriving Chinese Restaurants, entirely patronised by local Turks. In Ankara within walking distance of our house were |Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Italian etc, etc, all full every night and not  a tourist in sight.

It is located just back from the Kalamar Road, about a three minute walk from the roundabout.

They do a great take-away service and will deliver anywhere in Kalkan free of charge as well as having a very pretty garden restaurant.

We eat there a couple of times a month and always enjoy the food and the ambiance

Their phone number is 0242 844 2044

Enjoy your meal

Lantana
Is it open during the day? Every time we pass it, it looks closed.

Again it looks like a matter of preference - last time we went it was not great food for the cost and it never seems busy
Perhaps they should do an English breakfast ;D

We were just a few yards up the hill from that particular Chinese Chopstix last June. We didn't eat in there although it looked like it had a good atmosphere, but we had a few takeaways when we fancied a night in the villa. The chef was definitely not Chinese but his food was really good and he was a great guy, if he saw us going past on our way out during the day he'd run out for a chin wag and he'd always throw in a little something extra for free in our order. My Hubby loved waiting for the food to be cooked as he could have a few swift sneaky Efes listening to classical music and having a goss with the chefs Mum. Definitely try it in two weeks time again and I bet they'll remember us. Mind you in my Hubby's case once seen never forgotten!

Thankfully I don't resemble the woman in the photo Mr Lizard, well not yet anyhow although after two weeks of Turkish nosh my waistline will probably be similar. Sadly my Hubby is a dead ringer for the bloke especially in the belly region the result of too many Efes and not enough laps in the pool, although in his favour he does have a little more hair  O0. Have to keep him off this forum tonight if he sees this I'll be in the dog-house lol!!

Zula is down one of the side streets on the way to the harbour. Just follow the road down from Moonlight and it's along one of the little side roads on the left. Nice seating area outside for drinks and a lovely terrace for food. Gorgeous home made bread and very attentive service :)

Yes.spot on BL and K4E.only thing i would recommend for Zula is to go early just after 7:00pm to get a table as i saıd there are 11 of us.or call in the morning or phone and reserve one as Half the tables were reserved when we went as ıt ıs so popular.
