i have never stayed in a hotel in kalkan always been in the villa so i would just like to know ?

-
Hi Becks
The hotels themselves don''t have reps; it''s the tour companies who employ reps.
-
Thats what i wanted to know .. Thank you very much .
-
Another plus about staying in the hotels is they are all central and you will not need a car.

I just love OPEN FOURMS ! ! ! Big brother comes to KALKAN ! ! !

I completely agree with Kalkan Dream. Recently, when another subject was closed by Big Brother, I wrote a post asking whether I''d been transported back to 1984, it never appeared. What is going on here?
As far as I gather from English Newspapers'' Letter Pages, every opinion is printed unless it is libellous.

Sorry, I was referring to Kalamar Dream''s post.

Wow whats happening here then........things getting a bit heated.......

As far as I know there are no holiday reps in Kalkan, but I may be wrong. [PDOH]

There is one useless one that works at the Samira, don''t think she is based in Kalkan though.
We had a problem in June, we spoke to her & she was about as much use as a chocolate teapot!
-
I think many are based in Fethiye and beyond. Some give the contact details of a local travel company, such as Adda, to use if there are any problems. [PDOH]
-
there are a few holiday reps based in Kalkan
Tapestry - Thomas Cook - Jewel in the Crown etc etc
-
Yes, thinking about it, I saw a Tapestry van on my last visit ...
-
popps , you are so wrong , you obviously don''t move in the right circles when in town !! chin chin !!

Am I wrong about thinking there are not many reps in Kalkan, or about seeing a Tapestry van on my last visit? Maybe it was an illusion brought on by an over-exposure to efes.
-
reps in kalkan chuck , theres loads !!
-
Wow ... and I''''ve not seen one ... ever. Maybe they have a cloaking device ...
-
Yep, we came over with Tapestry and stayed at the Fidanka - there was a rep from Tapestry who came to the Fidanka a couple of times a week. Think she was based at the Asfiya.
-
have you not stayed in the regency ? there is a great rep there ??
-
So what''s the reason for the original question that started this thread...? ???
-
good point!! ::)
-
I cannot believe what''s happening to this forum, just recently it''s gone steeply downhill. Very sad.

Hi AllanChris,
I dont know whats up with people either - anyone who tries to ruin the forum for everyone else will have the book thrown at them!

Thomas Cook have reps at their hotels, and presumably Thompsons and others likewise.

I agree, posts which set out to maliciously disrespect other members should be deleted and the sender dealt with appropriately, but posts which may exhibit a little sardonic humour shouldn''t be classed in this category. I don''t think it would be of value to anyone if we had a long list of bland, non-contentious posts devoid of humour.
This is a great site and its'', and all its'' members'' integrity, should be respected.
