Does any one know of any water parks close to kalkan , I heard that there is a big one in kusadasi but looked on the map and it seems like it is absolutely miles away Thanks Craig

You are absolutely right they are miles away (thank goodness) There are always the beach clubs where there are a certain amount of water sports I believe. I think this is mainly Kalamar Beach club.

Craig,
There are no waterparks nearby although I think there is a waterpark Hotel in Kas (but I don''t know if it is open to non-residents).
All of the beach clubs have water sports (but they mainly have to be paid for). My daughters are now 13 and 15 and they love Kalamar Beach club. There are pedaloes and canoes that are free of charge and there is a large trampoline for all visitors to use. If your children want more than the ''freebies'' there are also jet skis, bananas and ringos - but these are all at an additional charge.
We think the beach clubs are nice for a change away from the pool, but remember that you do have to pay for the sunbeds and brollys and you''re not allowed to take in your own food and drink.
:D ;D :D

Kalkan Beach Park has a large water slide which goes straight into the sea which most children seem to love. Last year it cost 5 lira per child per day. One of the children with us (aged 10) set what is probably a world record for daily water slide use - 137 times between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.. He certainly got his 5 lira''s worth.
At the various beach clubs there are a range of attractions for younger children on offer including ringos, banana boats and Big Mabel.
For older children there is water ski-ing (lessons available) and this year wind surfing and sailing will be available from Mahal Beach Club with instruction for those who are not experienced.

They were a bit sharp with you!! Calis Beach on the way into Fethiye would be the closest to Kalkan! You can get a bus or perhaps do a trip including the Market and even Ouli Deniz. Many trips from Fethiye to Calis all day!!
Have a great holiday
