Evening All,
My wife and I are considering coming over for a holiday late September/early October. Can someone confirm what the weather generally is like - wet/dry, cool/warm/hot.
Are mossie''s a problem at that time of year?
Finally, would anyone say that a hire car is essential, or just a nice-to-have?
We''re having a really hectic year and basically just want to kick back, but a few trips/visits would be good.
You seem to have a fantastic community out there - well done.

Mozzies not a problem.
We always hire a car to see all the sights and go off the beaten track. It''s a must for us but not essential.
There are local buses etc taxi''s. Plus there are organised trips, have a day on a boat too.

Weather will be warm/hot during day and a little cooler at night. Evenings will be getting darker earlier, and maybe an odd shower or two should be expected.
It is a lovely time of year, which is why I will be there at that time!
There are organised trips you could join, or you could hire a car for a day here and there?
If you use mossie spray you should be fine.

Great time of the year! Wish we didn''t have to go during the school holidays! Too hot and a lot of people. The time is ideal for that kind of holiday!

:-* I will be in Kalkan 21/09 until 05/10 :-* just confirmed this weekend.I always love October,even with some amazing storms that we have seen,and rain like we never see in East Anglia. Short ,sharp and easily forgotten........ like a warm shower really.
