When we were over in Kalkan last month we quite enjoyed the old apple tea offered in various establishments so decided to buy some to bring back to Blighty. The other night we decided to settle down with a brew and peruse the photo''s when lo and behold inside the box was another box, with pineapple tea on the outside, and inside the 2nd box was indeed insipid, pretty horrible pineapple tea.
We bought the "Apple" tea at Teskos, it was in a green box with pictures of apples on the front, English written on one side and in Turkish on the other (Elma Cayi). It was made by a company called Aktarbaba.
