Title: Jus 1 more week :) Question about Visa
Post by: Astraea on May 21, 2009, 05:12:40 PM
Hi there
SO excited, it''s only 1 more week now til we''re finally on the plane to Dalaman :)
Got a bit confused when I was jus reading about the visas. Me and my boyfriend are both flying from the UK, he is English (English passport) but I only live in England and have a German passport. Am I lucky then and don''t have to pay for the Visa? (Looked at this website http://www.enjoyturkey.com/info/usefull_info/Passport_Visa_Customs.htm (http://www.enjoyturkey.com/info/usefull_info/Passport_Visa_Customs.htm) but found it a bit confusing as well...)
Or do you think I should try to get hold of euros just in case?
Hope you can help.

You are a German national and as such as long as your passport is valid do not need a visa ... ;)

Quick visa question.

My son & girlfriend, who both have British passports, will be flying into Turkey from Switzerland.

Will they be able to pay for a tourist visa in Euros & if so, how much is it in Euros?

Thanks in advance.

As I understand it the passport is the thing that counts and so they will need to pay £10 in sterling.
