Title: Baharat Cafe

Did anyone try the Baharat Cafe in December?  It is where Arena used to be, across from Mercez Cafe?  I hear it is opening again in March so wondering what the food/prices are like?

Yes, been several times and though its not completely up and running yet, it is a nice place to chill out and Hassan and Mandy make you feel very welcome. They are at present working on a limited menu, but have a chef lined up for the season. The prices are reasonable and if you fancy a pair of multi-coloured woolen socks, Hassan''s Mum has been knitting all winter and sent him a box full. Ideal for the cold wet Kalkan winters! Alternatively a great present!

Does anyone know, if there will be same waiting staff there, cos some have been working at the Arena for many years.  Anyway, i wish them well for the coming season  :)
