If you would like to see what our present Mayor is planning for Kalkan should he be reinstated please have a look at his website which is now in English as well as Turkish! http://www.mustafasalvarli.com/English.htm

What is there to think of someone who has condoned excessive building, even in green areas and allowed stone masons and construction people to continue making a hell of noise next door to you in the middle of August, 2007?

I went to see him, he didn''t even have the courtesy to receive me.  So I wrote to the Ministry of Tourism, the governor''s office in Antalya and another office in Ankara.  They came to see the problem in October.  Of course, by that time the building was completed.

I''ve read his website and was particularly struck by his promise to produce "...concrete examples".

Thinks we have had quite enough of those!
