Hi Nellydean,
If it''s your first time in Kalkan - then welcome and you''ll love it!  I haven''t stayed in the Mina, but have stayed at the Emir Apartments where it''s located  - we stayed in the fabulous Bellamina Apt last year on our first visit to Kalkan.  The Emir is in a great location and the complex is just fabulous.  There are 2 pools with ample sun loungers and parasols and everything is kept absolutely spotless by the couple who manage the place.  They''ll be there to greet you and take you to Mina whatever time of day or night you arrive.  The views are incredible - across the village and bay and also the mountains.  It''s glorious.  You''re only 2/3 minutes walk to the nearest (very well stocked) supermarket, and you''re only a 5 minute walk downhill to the main street leading into the centre of Kalkan.  You''re also handily located for the weekly Thursday market - a 3 minute stroll uphill.  Be prepared for your calf muscles to ache a bit after the first day or so strolling back up the hill - at least if you''re as unfit as me!  The Emir is a cracking location in a beautiful place.  Enjoy!

I have stayed at the Mina apartment in the Emir development twice now and we are going again this year.  It is a really lovely penthouse apartment with three large bedrooms, a massive living area and is very well equipped.  It has its own sun terrace with built in barbecue and enjoys amazing views across the bay.  There are two pools at the Emir which are great and its an easy walk into town so you don''t need a taxi.  Would definitely recommend.
