Title: Weather Mid to late May
Post by: jujus on January 30, 2009, 03:25:50 PM
Hi,

Myself, husband and 10 year old daughter are really looking forward to coming to Kalkan May half term week. I have noted that the sea temperature can be cold and wet suits are recommended for the less hardy!  Does any one know whether it will be cheaper to bring from UK or buy in Kalkan? My daughter will probably need one as she doesn''t have an ounce of fat on her.

Also is it likely to be chilly in the evening?

Thanks

JuJus

Hi JuJus,

We swam off the beach at Kalkan last April and it was fine. If you really need wet suits Liddle sell light weight shorty suits very very cheap.

I''ve been in May half-term a couple of times and have found the evenings to be warm enough, especially last year.  Both times the temperature has gone up noticeably during the week.
