Title: travel guide

I am asking for a travel guide book on Turkey for Christmas, was wondering if any one could recommend a good one? I want a guide that is indepth and takes you down little tracks to hidden gems.  A book that shows most of the roads old and new and gives you insights into the names of villages and towns etc

Just been looking myself.  I have rarely found better than the Rough Guides, but you may like to point whoever is buying you the present in the direction of this link

hi Molly
I`ve used my Eyewitness travel guide to Turkey endlessly. The layout is really simple with loads of pictures and maps and all colour coded so very easy to use. I do also have the Rough guide and they work very well together.
