Title: Personal ID Number

I am lead to believe that Personal ID Numbers are now necessary in addition to your Vergi (tax) Number and your Residence(kimlik) Number.
Does anyone know how you obtain them?

The number is for Residents. The thread is on the Turkish Living Forum.
