Title: John Blundell

I attended the funeral today of the late John Blundell from Kaplumbaga appartments in Kisla......John had lived in Kalkan for the past 20 years, he was one of the 1st Brits to visit Kalkan and settle there,he was one of the most geniune honest and kind people I have ever met,nothing was to much trouble for him.    Everyone in the village knew John he was loved and respected.
My heart goes out to his partner Lynn and to his many close friends including Karyn and Bilgin.
   
I will miss you John, Kaplumbaga will never be the same.

Our condolences to Lynn. We had known John for almost ten years and for us, he was very much part of Kalkan. We would bump into him in the market here or in Fethiye, at the local shops, or stop for a few words in the street when our paths crossed. Always cheerful, always helpful. He will indeed be missed.
