After two weeks in our own villa, we had to move out as we had rented it but didn''t feel like coming back to England - no surprise!
We firstly did a gulet cruise for a few days from Fethiye, which was wonderfully relaxing with great company, and then came back to see our son who is working in Kalkan at the moment. We then went on to stay at Owlsland in Bezirgan before returning home.
Although Bezirgan is only 20 mins max drive from Kalkan it is a complete change in culture (and temperature). We had a fantastic couple of days staying in our own farmhouse in the grounds of Owlsland, and enjoying Erol''s wonderful cooking, mostly produced from his and Pauline''s own garden. Highly recommend this place if you fancy getting away from the hustle and bustle of Kalkan, without having to travel a huge distance.
