Title: Water taxis/taxis
Post by: sooey on July 16, 2008, 05:32:10 PM
We are going to Kalkan for first 2 weeks in August and do not plan to hire a car.  Our accommodation is 5 mins walk down the hill to beach club/swimming platforms but we plan to go to Patara beach and the other sandy one whose name I have forgotten!!  What is the quickest/cheapest way to do this? Do you have to pre-book taxis in August? Thanks Sue

taxis are everywhere all scratching about for business....cheapest way to Patara is by the dolmus, the same to  Kaputas beach(careful at Kaputas..it is a beach surrounded by rock and it gets unbelievably hot) ;)
