Not sure how accurate, we were recently told from a Kalkan local that new builds during 2020/21 including new villas, refurbs and apartments is in region of 250, If correct it shows the faith in Kalkan from businesses, Kas Council, locals, owners and expected visitors alike. Already seen the road upgrades the council is carrying out and down at the harbour far end from posted photos on forums. Great to see the investment. Looking forwardc to a vacation and vaccination

Thats interesting to know, would be great to see some photos. I saw a video of a new apartment complex up in the hills but would be good to see changes at the harbour.
If only one of those changes was a walkway all around the coast :)

Most pics I have seen are on some of the Facebook forums. Having said that those forums not as informative as this forum in many respects and subjects. Great to be back

Ps. Re coastal path. I do believe something is going on in that respect . Something about walkway and cycling path... unless It is Kas rather than Kalkan

Facebook has a place but I do find it is almost impossible to keep up with and so many spam / silly posts

Re the walkway and cycle path between Kalkan Beach Park and Harbour area. Some architect photos are showing on Facebook but not the actual route. Are there any published plans? It is difficult to see how it can be a shoreline path.

Brian j p thank you . Will be patient waiting for more info on the coastal path route. I agree EK has always been the most informative site. I only turned to Facebook when EK stopped. Apart from last year we have visited Kalkan every year for 20 years.
