Hi everyone. My daughter is looking for a villa with heated pool for the middle of October 2020. Anyone got any suggestion please. Cheers Ray

Hi folks. I have been missing from the forum for ages. Mainly computer problems. However very interested in this query on heated pool. Our own pool doesn't have heating and I have sometimes thought that it would be rather nice if out very early in the season or very late. Are there any villa owners reading this who have had their pool heated and would be prepared to discuss cost of setting up and running costs. I have read in the past of villa owners with heated pools who would put the heating on for guests (on request) but charged a huge amount more on top of the normal villa rental.

Happy new year tortoise lady. Lol. Sounds funny saying that. Now your pool is so much shallower it should make a major difference. I’ll let you know. My daughter husband and 2 youngsters have talked me to returning with them till the end of October and they said they wanted a heated pool and preferably with A kids pool heated so they can be in it for longer periods. We sounded out a few and decided to go to Hobbo’s villa as it sound exactly what they want. I’m sure he would be happy to discuss heating a pool and it’s only 5 minutes away from you. It does mean that the rental season can be extended so it maybe a good feature. In our case it was a clear must for my daughter. It does mean that after being in kalkan in September I now have to return 16 days later. Shame that. It would have been easier to put a tent up with tortoises for friends than 2 trips but cella vie. Regards
